If anyone in the medical Field tell me about Petechiae my sons had a fever recently, gone off his food now looking close to his skin he had this spotted about his whole body? I've been to the doctors already And they always put it down to viral, unfortunately I've only just noticed the petechiae so I didn't even get a chance to mention it. Is this a common rash in children or is it something I should be taking seriously as it doesn't blanch. (He also complaining of itchiness for about a week now) and tomorrow will be day 5 that he's hardly had anything to eat. Worried mum.
