CRP is elevated, not sure about the others. It’s non specific, but inflammation generally

Endeavormorse · 31/07/2023 12:52

ESR normal range is 1-19
CRP normal range is 0-9

not sure about the other one.
I had bloods last week so am aware if the ranges.

Thank you both. Not getting any info from doctors.

They can't just give you results and then not explain what any of it means - please get back in touch until you get a proper answer.

They all indicate inflammation. The CCP one is often used to identify inflammation in the joints, including for rheumatoid arthritis. What was the reason they were testing you? Have you come in with particular symptoms?

TuesdayQ · 01/08/2023 16:28

Those results are indicative of inflammation; the cause of which could vary wildly, depending on your signs and symptoms. I hope you can manage to speak to someone soon, honey. (Try not to worry too much, as the results are only in the lower boundary of 'abnormal'. How significant they are depends on how you're feeling 🤍)

Crunchymum · 01/08/2023 16:33

Have they mentioned what they are testing you for.

I have an autoimmune arthritis (not rheumatoid) and I have my ESR and CRP checked at every blood test.

CCP seems to suggest they are looking to see if you have rheumatoid arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis - Diagnosis

Read about diagnosing rheumatoid arthritis. It can be difficult to diagnose because many conditions cause joint stiffness and inflammation.

It’s tests for arthritis. I have psoriasis, vitiligo, hyper mobility syndrome, struggling to walk constant pain. Can barely get myself out of bed in the morning for the pain. I feel awful, I am desperate for some help.
