The only way I’m going to hit someone doing 30 is if they step out in front of me. Introducing a 20 zone on a road where the only thing that’s been hit in decades is a cat is completely ridiculous. Frankly I have no interest in what someone who calls people cunts and tells them to fuck themselves thinks.

It’s a stupid thing to say, but it’s hardly news that Sunak/the Tory party don’t really care about the health, happiness or safety of kids - 4million plus kids growing up in poverty, underinvestment in schools, removal or rights and opportunities, treatment of migrant children….

Sunak doesn't care about anybody other than rich Tory donors. We won't see him for dust after he's lost the next election.

The Tories are absolutely desperate for votes. They were saved in the Uxbridge by-election by voters who were against the expansion of the ULEZ. It’s an easy source of votes in key constituencies.

One of the things it’s supposed to do is encourage walking and cycling, particularly for children going to and from school. It definitely feels safer cycling in a 20mph speed limit area.

The Uxbridge and Ruislip voters who fell for that campaign really are stupid. It's not as if the local MP can influence the expansion of ULEZ anyway. The plethora of joke candidates didn't help either.

Do people take much notice of any of them? At least doing 28 in a 20 is better than doing 38 back when that same stretch of road used to be a 30.

What a scumbag. 20 is indeed plenty, should be 10 or less in built up areas and around schools. If you don't like driving slowly, then walk. That'll be better for everyone, including the driver.
