DPs Work keep reporting wages early

OK I know I'm not U on this one but what the heck can I do
We receive a small amount of uc. Dps work have now twice reported his wages early
Last month he was paid on the 30th but was reported on the 28th meaning it affected our assessment period on uc

This month he is due to get paid on the 31st, so tomorrow but it was already reported as paid on Friday so affected us again!

Dp says the lady that deals with the pay is only there once or twice a week so difficult to get a hold of and he doesn't seem enthusiastic to keep bothering them about this but we've now lost hundreds of pounds and the stress is really starting to get to me.

I know its his work and I can't get involved but what the heck can I do or do I just accept they'll continue to do this and mess up our uc

This is from the low income tax reforms group:

“There is guidance from HMRC for employers who need to pay either early or late which advises the employer to enter the normal contractual pay day in their RTI submission to HMRC, irrespective of whether that was actually the date they paid the wages. If employers follow this guidance, then this should ensure that two sets of wages do not fall into the same assessment period when wages are paid early. Unfortunately, this guidance does not seem to be very well known among many employers and so often the actual date the wages are paid is often used by the employer in their RTI submission, potentially giving rise to the ‘two wages in one assessment period’ issue.”

Glad it's been resolved @Workquestion11 and hope you manage to get your UC backdated. It's a lot of money to lose

Apparently it can't be resolved, the date on hmrc and the payslip is when the bank recieve the wages
How frustrating
