to have been noisier, or slower, or taken more breaks!

They have been so good that I had a friend round this morning and she didn't realise they were there until they started drilling, and I have had to force them to have a cup of tea as it is freezing outside!

I have never had workmen in the house and was looking forward to a good moan, but apart form leaving a screw they found on the coffee table (where DD1 found it) they have been awesome, and my windows are FAB, you can't hear a thing!

I go out for most of the day and tell them to help themselves to tea and coffee and they don't, just wait for me to come back
and they hoover up after themselves

I did that posie, I put out full kettle, and pot of coffee in filter, mugs, teabags etc and some biscuits in a pot, and they hadn't been touched while I was out! That's why today I made them tea and insisted they drank it, the Irish Mammy in me was fretting!

Mine brought their own flask of coffee with them everyday. However, although they hoovered up they used MY hoover and there were loads of big bits of eg plaster going into it! Luckily doesn't seem damaged.
