I know it’s not AIBU but me and DH have a very rare child free night and I’m wondering what we should do to make the most of this extremely rare occasion 😂🤔

Meal pub bed

How old are you children. If they are young then one of you has to spread Lego over the floor whilst saying no to every reasonable request whilst the other tries not to get exasperated. If they are teenagers substitute door slamming for the Lego spreading. 😉

I would be boring and snuggle up with snacks in front of a movie or series that you wouldn’t watch if the DC were there.

12 10 and 6. It’s always busy and chaotic in between the 3 of them and now you can actually hear the fridge noise it’s that quiet 😂😂 already feeling a bit lost haha.

I was gonna actually suggest to DH a couple of films some drinks and a Chinese but weirdly feel like we should do something more fun 🤣 The being able to wake up whatever time we like in the morning is something to look forward to for definite though!

We are the same! We're by the coast so going for a walk to a nearby Indian restaurant, followed by a couple of beers before a late walk on the seafront. Can't wait!

Oh and excited not to be woken up at 6am 😂

Oh lovely, that sounds great! Hope you have an amazing time! The nearest beach to us is about 90 minutes away - 🥹 we live in a small town in South Wales but we do have a lovely pub right opposite our house so not far to walk home if a bit wobbly 🤣 we have horrible drizzly rain at the moment - boo 😒

Go and watch a grown up movie in the cinema with popcorn.
