We bought a used car 4 months ago- since it's had a few little niggles but last week went into restrictive performance mode so we cannot drive it. We took out an AA warranty so called an approved garage and it went in yesterday. The garage have called and said 3 of the 5 fault codes are major- two to do with the turbo ( I know nothing about cars ) and that these issues are 'significant and likely there 4 months ago' I feel really torn about what to do! Has anyone taken a used car back in the first six months? What would we be entitled to, obviously not a full refund but hopefully just slightly less?! Thank you!
