Boarded the plane home from a week away, Sat next to a couple. Half way through the flight he pulls out 2 lunchboxes, first lunchbox all inclusive stash of bread rolls/snacks etc. I thought fairplay he's making the most of the free food (my kind of guy) second lunchbox he takes the lid off, Tuna! A whole lunchbox of Tuna! Absolute stunk the plane out. Aibu to think this is just rude!!?Envy

Eating stinky fish or eggs outside of a home or restaurant should be a criminal offense.

I really like tuna but that's grim and rude. It does absolutely stink. Someone used to bring sardines to work and my office was right next door to the canteen. Used to make me feel so sick and smelled the whole afternoon.

I think it will smell better than the farts we had to put up with on the way to the carribbean

Add apples and overly crunchy crisps to that list please

I might have vomited as I hate the smell of fish/Tuna.

Grim.

Gross and I do eat a lot of tuna but only buy the one in water so it is not as smelly. Some people have no common sense or only think of themselves. Shocked people are allowed to bring food onto the plane like that.

Hangable offence in my opinion.

I'm probably less bothered than most people by the smell of fish, but even I would find this fairly hideous.

I once sat opposite an incredibly irritating couple on a four hour train journey who spent much of the journey taking groceries out their giant backpacks and and making - not just eating, making - various sandwiches and snacks. This entailed them opening two tins of corned beef at one point and also eating sauerkraut straight from the jar with a spoon.

I assume they were equally repulsed by my own meal of a chicken and bacon sandwich, two canned mojitos and a bag of chocolate buttons from the station M&S
