Holidaying alone with young children

I am looking at going abroad with my 2 children who will be just turned 4 and 5, am I mad? Has anyone else done it, do you have any tips? The youngest one likes running off at times although he is getting much better now he is nearing 4. Neither can swim either although they are doing swimming lessons and are comfortable in the water.
I really want to take them on a plane but just not sure if I’m brave enough.

I haven’t but you should be fine if you go somewhere very child friendly and preferably with some free childcare if you want some time to yourself.

Good luck.

Do it! Pick one with a holiday club so you can have a bit of a break from entertaining them.

relax bedtimes and be led by them

currently away alone with my 4 year old twins and having a blast

I’m doing my first solo abroad trip with my children next year ages 6,8,10 and 12. A bit nervous but I’m sure it will be fine!

Do it!
