This morning I went downstairs with my 4 month old after giving her a bottle upstairs. I noticed a weird wet patch on our sideboard (TV stand) in the living room. Called in DH as it was so bizarre and we've no idea how it got there! It was a large patch of water but managed not to drip off the edge of the sideboard at all despite being quite a puddle. Mopped it up with a tea towel and it had no colour or smell.
How could it have got there?
Only me, DH and DD live here. 3 cats but they sleep in the conservatory at night with no access to the house. Sideboard not near the sofa so we don't put drinks on there. It's directly under our bedroom's fitted wardrobe and there are definitely no pipes or anything that run through that bit of the house (they wouldn't need to to reach any radiators or the bathroom). Bathroom and boiler are upstairs at the opposite end of the house.
DH and I went to bed at the same time last night, he woke up before me to go to the gym but didn't go into the living room at all. I'm baffled!
