I recently bought a new duvet and cover from IKEA. The Ikea website gives the measurements for both: 220 x 240. The cover doesn’t fit properly: it’s slipping around a lot. I measured the duvet and it’s actually 230 cm wide, so it’s 10cm too narrow. AIBU to think the measurements on the website should match the actual product? Or at least the duvet and the corresponding cover should be designed to fit together?
Any ideas how to fix it? Should I sew up one side of the cover? I’ve looked for my receipt but can’t find it, so I can’t return the duvet.
