To ask for some hints and tips for a fun summer holiday

Up until recently I worked a part time job in retail, but an amazing full time opportunity came up - which was always the plan eventually, this came up earlier than I would have liked but couldn't really turn it down, however it means I don't have any time off in the holidays.

My daughter is four, and it's her last one before school :-( and to add to it, me and my husband work pretty much opposite shifts at the mo (all temporary) not so great for spending time together but amazing from a childcare perspective....silver linings.

So I am looking for ideas of things to do that kind of fit around our situation that still allows us to do some fun things in the holidays, we will have a few evenings a week and the odd day hear and there, so full days out are limited, but I'm hoping some of you have some genius ideas to squeeze in some family time and help me stop feeling like the world's worst mother.
