to expect people to not stroke my hair on the bus?

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 26/02/2008 08:47

Seriously.
On the bus this morning and somebody strokes my hair.
This is the third time that somebody has stroked my hair on the bus.
Grrr.
I even had somebody sniffing my hair in the queue for the bus whilst he was having a good rummage down his pants.

What is the fascination with my hair?!

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 26/02/2008 08:54

PABLOP · 26/02/2008 08:56

No need to say anything, just purrrrrrrr

bogie · 26/02/2008 09:16

How strange you must have very nice hair.

Just had a peek on your profile and i think we shop in the same supermarket as my ds has to go on bob everytime we leave.

ConnorTraceptive · 26/02/2008 09:18

My sister has autism and is unable to resist touching black peoples hair. We used to be mortified as kids when she just went up to randompeople in supermarkets

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 26/02/2008 09:22

oh, maybe I should be less unreasonable then about stroking my hair if it serves their need

bogie - that's Morrinsons in Netherfield - she goes on Bob with my DH watching while I pack the bags on the checkouts!

OP posts:
bogie · 26/02/2008 09:25

Yes thats where we shop we live in netherfield now

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 26/02/2008 09:28

We are near Porchester Rd, just off one of the turnings on Carlton Rd.

How old is your ds? The pics on your profile are lovely btw

OP posts:
bogie · 26/02/2008 09:30

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 26/02/2008 09:31

OP posts:
bogie · 26/02/2008 09:38

we will have to meet sometime and take them out.
Do you ever go to run riot in west bridgford its lovley there we take ds alot its usally quite empty in the day.

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 26/02/2008 09:39

not been there, typically I'm working during the day and so DD is with the CM.
Have you been to The Goose at Gamston? they have a wacky warehouse type thing, DD loves it there!

OP posts:
bogie · 26/02/2008 10:04

yeah we go to the goose and the ferry boat quite a bit the ferry boat is very similar but right on the river bank near stoke bardolph so you can feed the ducks aswell.
Run riot is like a wacky warhouse but its in rushcliffe arena and its amazing all the soft play and slides are supersized so the adults can very easily go round it all, it gives you a better workout than the gym. we were in there for 3-4 hours a day in the summer and most of the time there was no other kids there!!

can i just ask which bus you were on when you were being stroked so i can stay away

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 26/02/2008 10:09

I was on the 27, I'd dropped DD off at the CM house and then nipped to Tesco.

I love the ferry boat, DD likes to chase the birds - she's an oddball!
