I missed the original one, but not the one about the original that got deleted, and now there's one about the not original one that got deleted and another about that too.
Get the picture now?
Cool.

chelsygirl · 25/02/2008 21:32

you were on a mm night out!

IamTheSpeedingHam · 25/02/2008 21:33

if you had a nanny, you could keep up with these threads

fishie · 25/02/2008 21:35

i saw orig thread it was not that thrilling but i stopped at 4pm.

dh overheard one of my cousins saying to another at funeral "so ron, what are you going to do for clothes now c&a has gone?"

Desiderata · 25/02/2008 21:39

C&A still big in Amsterdam, though.

S1ur · 25/02/2008 21:44

Whole Nanny thread seemed like another big chance to have a Good Old Ding Dong.

Bit of panic, dash of insults, generous helping of whoms vs shams, sprinkle with class and serve with vitriol and emoticons.

Possibly Cam's recipe of the week?

PotPourri · 25/02/2008 21:48

Ha ha, my predictions were right! LOL. I missed original, then when message about the original came on and people were asking what was covered I wondered if it would ressurect (sp?).

Go on, make it a hattrick!!

fishie · 25/02/2008 22:01

desid i looked round c&a in amsterdam it was horrid, worse than bhs. i did try to be positive too, had a lovely clockhouse dress when i was 13.

Desiderata · 25/02/2008 22:22

I had a Clockhouse dress when I was seven, fishie. That would have been in 1972.

Damn, but I hated it. Poor mum, I was such a brat on occasion.

Thomcat · 25/02/2008 22:26

PMSL at 'feel like I' still wearing C&A'. I'm soooo using that

DualCycloneCod · 26/02/2008 08:51

i had a clockhouse seater dress too.
it was cream wiht green and beige pattern and a silver lurex thread

circa 1982

didnt even go there can write the script without reading it

lets see - selfish, greedy, avaricious, capitalist dog working parents see the baby/children for 15 minutes a night, the heroic nanny does everything even breastfeeds the bloody dog

lots of "wouldnt miss precious moments" thrown in

Many humphy faces

Bit of class war

phew that sounds about right

chopster · 26/02/2008 09:20

dd has C&A swimsuits. Some of their kids stuff is quite nice.

Buda · 26/02/2008 09:31

I am still wearing C&A. Well I am not really but I could. They are big in Budapest!

DS has a few things from there. Managed to find the one and only hat he approved of from there.

Oh - actually I have a few jackets from there! (I am fat cow so shop where I can!)
