That's how it started with my 'D'S, the thin end of the wedge OP.

@aflix i am so worried about the weed smoking hence my hyper vigilance. Can I ask how your son is now. I’m going a little bit out of my mind right now..

Fuck off. There are many, many reasons women take the pill and only one of them is to avoid becoming pregnant. It's not stupidity, it supports habit building, which is hugely effective.

Looks like fish oil or CBD capsule. It could be something illegal but when there are perfectly legal and plausible explanations it's usually best to start by assuming it's one of them.

Cut into it. If it's fish oil you'll smell it straight away. I've just cut open one of my CBD capsules in the interests of science and furthering knowledge and it smells like a hemp teabag if you've ever used those. A sort of wet undergrowth smell, the sort of thing you might smell when digging out that damp patch of ground between the shed and the fence that never gets any sunlight and is full of woodlice.

That's a rather wonderful description, I know exactly what you mean!

Soft gel capsules are hard to make without the right equipment and time consuming, making gelatin, fill, filling and drying.

I can’t see anyone making these illegal as it’s too much effort.

I'm glad you found out it was Cod Liver Oil. I used to take it for spots at that age. Fish oil with vitamin D is better though.

Your son is 16. Most of us experimented with weed or other drugs at that age. It's totally normal. Not to be a cause for concern unless you know any reasons why he may feel he needs to use drugs as coping mechanism etc. If you have a healthy, trusting relationship with him then try not to worry about it. Trying to suppress normal behaviours in teens usually makes them just do it more!
