Another Taylor Swift ticket question

Hiya, just wondering if anyone has successfully done this....I have got the opportunity to use someone else's access code for TS tickets released tomorrow via AXS. I know they are not meant to be transferable but desperate times..... I have their AXS email and password. On the off chance that there is anything even remotely sensibly priced still available, I will be the Lead Booker as I will pay for them with my card but obvs it's not my AXS account that is assigned to that access code. This person won't be coming with me (they have tickets for another date). Has anyone managed to buy tickets via AXS? Can I put in my name, email address etc when I order so I get sent the tickets? Or will the tickets automatically go into their AXS account and to their email address? Just wondering if it worth the stress - this will be my sixth attempt in 2 days!

It has to be their email address that matches the code and the AXS account.

If they've already bought tickets with another code, one of you faces the risk it'll get cancelled I think.

My daughter registered with her email address etc but paid on my card, so the payment was in a different name (and surname) but I think she has to access her email address too. Will your friend be able to be in contact with you while you get tickets? Good luck!

accesscodequestion · 18/07/2023 19:39

Ah ok, thanks, so unlikely I will be able to overwrite their details with mine. They didn't buy the tickets for the show they are going to, they are going with another friend so this code is of no use to them, hence why they thought I could try and use it as I haven't had any luck with tickets so far.

DonkeyFacedCunt
Oh that sounds more positive then, thank you.

If they haven't used a code and are happy for you to access their AXS account that'll be fine.

I went to a Ticketmaster gig recently and they said screenshots are not accepted, you had to be logged into the account when you went in.

NoSquirrels · 18/07/2023 19:55

You have to buy them with the exact email address that was registered, and have access to that, but there’s no payment card associated with it so you can log in and buy with your friend’s email and account, pay with your card details and name, and then you’ll be the lead booker I think.

Lovely, thank you, will give it a go

This is what my confirmation email says:

—-
Delivery Method: AXS MOBILE ID - Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour
AXS Mobile ID and AXS Official Resale: To find out more about this simple, secure and fan friendly delivery method, please visit https://faq.axs.co.uk/. To use this method of delivery, you will need to download the AXS app to your phone.
In line with the wishes of the event organisers, the tickets will be released to AXS Accounts within 14 days of the event. You will receive an email confirming once the tickets have been released to your account.

So you’ll need to be able to download the app to your phone, associated with her email address. If she’s going with someone else and wants to download the app (so that they can transfer her ticket to her) then that might be a problem? I don’t know if the app can be on different devices at the same time registered to one email address.

Oh, I feel better about this then - I wasn't comfortable having access to her emails but if it's just the AXS app then that's much better. I see what you mean about her ticket for the venue/date she is going to though....

Maybe find out if her ticket that her friend bought was an AXS one or a Ticketmaster one?

You will need access to her email to buy, and then again to get the tickets downloaded to the app, but you shouldn’t need it otherwise I think?

OneHundredOtters · 18/07/2023 22:33

I think this should be fine. It does say it has to match the payment card name. Worse case scenario if she is a friend can she give you her app login and her ID to take with you?

This is my plan for my sister who is going on my code but we do look alike 😏
