What has bitten me?

Woke up on Sunday to find a curved long line of red bug bite marks on my upper back. I suspect bed bugs but weirdly I was wearing a racer back vest on Saturday evening and the line of bites matches exactly the curve of the top's back - could this be something else? Obviously didn't wear the vest to bed...

Fleas bite along the lines/edges of clothing. Do you have pets?

I find that often mosquito bites are at the very edge of my clothing. If you suspect bed bugs, the most likely place they will be hiding is behind your headboard or under the mattress. Look for abandoned carapaces (they will be light brown) and if you see any bugs moving, trap them with sellotape and discard in the outside bin. Steam cleaning will help with killing the eggs too (they’ll also be where the bugs are).

Is it definitely bites? Not contact dermatitis from the stitching or trim of your top?

They look like bites and feel itchy like bites. Think the lumps are too big to be a rash but I'm just very confused as to why it follows the curve of the top arm so perfectly (just one though, other side is fine) ... Not sure what else it could be?
