To hate the clean up?

We've had a lovely Sunday. One of them traditional lazy ones at home, English Breakfast this morning and a roast dinner later on. Also watched a fabulous Wimbledon final.

But oh my God the clean up of those 2 meals especially the roast.

AIBU to feel like almost makes it not worth it?!

Yes, hate it. I get my husband to do it usually.

It's the worst isn't it!

Cheat for the full english-if you can (and the weather permits!) do it on the barbecue. You don't end up using every pan in the house and the kitchen doesn't smell like bacon and sausages for hours after.

Breakfast not so much of a clean up, but a roast with all the oil from roast potatoes and the meat - no thank you. The clean up is horrific. My DH usually cooks the roast. It takes me a full dishwasher load plus a load of manual washing up (no room in dishwasher) plus floor clean (oil dripped on it) plus full wipe down of all kitchen surfaces. Not doing that again if I can help it, even if it means no roast again

I cook, dh never does.

But he loads the dishwasher and clears up the kitchen better than I would. Suits me fine.

There's absolutely no way I'd cook both of those meals in one day, they both drain me and I'm far too lazy!
