To ask for recommendations for duvets that pack small for camping?

We're going camping in Spain and I don't really want to take a sleeping bag. I'd like a duvet that I can pack into a bag / stuff sack so it won't take too much space up in the car. Does such a thing exist?.

Have a look at coverless duvets! Asda have a couple for reasonable!

We took a nightowl coverless duvet to Glastonbury. Not cheap but it is great.

I know you said no sleeping bag but I have a big double Vango sleeping bag and it's so soft inside, I absolutely love it. Nothing like the traditional mummy style plasticy ones of my youth.

I don't mind sleeping bags but it's going to be too warm where we are going so a sheet underneath and thin duvet on top makes more sense.

Does it pack into a smallish carrying case? Our car is full to bursting when we go camping so I need the bedding we take to pack up small!

why are you so dead set on it being a 'duvet'?
at this time of year, i often use a thin fleece blanket.
it packs really small, and is warm enough
and very easy to wash/ quick to dry

If you don’t mind a sleeping bag shape get a silk sleeping bag liner and a light fleece blanket?

But if you want something that goes ultra small get a down sleeping bag in about 200 weight. You can use it open like a blanket, it packs tiny and will be more versatile for other trips

You won't need a duvet unless you at up in the mountains where it is cool at night

I recently bought a lightweight summer quilt from Amazon, it was fab, in a tiny package when it arrived, and would be easy to squeeze up again.
Search for "Utopia Bedding Lightweight 4.5 Tog Duvet" on Amazon - there are several sellers of the same thing (beware, one of them takes three weeks to deliver)

Vacuum bags they are fab we used them to take duvets camping and pillows clothes just use the hover to suck the air out. We’ve got a small electric pump for the air beds which can also resuck them when packing to come home. Fab invention.
