To be concerned about finding number

AIBU to be concerned about finding a name and number in DH’s wallet. It’s handwritten and not his writing. Is the name ‘Beaux’ a flag? (I thought it meant boyfriend). Am I being utterly paranoid?

I should add, he denied knowledge of it. Hence feeling really concerned.

Could you put the number in your phone, and see if it comes up in WhatsApp? That will show you a name/profile photo of who it belongs to, potentially.
Hope it's nothing to worry about. Sending hugs x

Nothing comes up for me to see. My gut is telling me it’s something suspicious though based on things I’ve found before. Also always denied though.

‘Beau’ is an old-fashioned word for boyfriend, without the X.

There’s a indie-pop singer called Beaux.

But honestly, nobody can possibly know what this number is or whether it’s anything to worry about. It could be nothing or it could be something. I think all you can do is try searching the number on WhatsApp or, if you’re desperate, calling it yourself.
