To buy a blow up bed?

Visiting my mum just now. We are o the sofa bed. It is the most uncomfortable thing ever! "Mattress" is about 2 inches thick, its dipping in the middle and any time either of us moved it felt like it was going to collapse. DP and I got no sleep last night. Wibu to buy a blow up bed to do us for next couple of nights? DP says it would be v rude.

I would get a premier inn instead!

Why is it rude? You are giving your mum a bed and not expecting her to move. Just say there's a problem with the sofa bed so you are making other arrangements

You can get a full height one which is fab. When we first bought our new house we slept on one for 3 years before we got a ‘proper’ bed. The blow up bed was far more comfy!!

I think a blow up bed is sensible.

You'll be visiting again so it makes sense to get something comfy
