PJs that don’t scrunch up in your arse crack in the night

Apologies for the crude title but please please please can someone recommend pjs that you don’t spend the night dragging out of your arse crack while half asleep. There is NOTHING WORSE, but I have failed to find any decent ones, EVER.

I’m early 50s, so unfortunately not the svelt nymph I used to be before 3 DS and 1,000 packets of tayto.

I cannot wear a nightie. They always ended up around your armpits. Or maybe I'm a very restless sleeper!!

eurochick · 15/07/2023 09:08

I'm another Cyberjammies fan. The cuffed bottoms have good crotch depth.

Keepyournoseout · 15/07/2023 09:13

I don't have this problem thankfully.

All my pyjamas are from Asda. I only wear short set and cotton ones to sleep in. So not long legged. I buy a size or two bigger.

Tiredjoanna · 15/07/2023 09:24

Mens pj bottoms, comfy as hell 😉

I sleep naked. I have no idea how people can sleep wearing clothes - it feels all kinds of wrong to me.

Me too. Nighties ride up and pyjamas the legs ride up the top rides up and also, as the OP, says the bottoms go up your bum.

I haven't worn anything in bed for about 50 years only when I was in hospital or when staying with other people.

golddustwomen · 15/07/2023 09:32

Have you tried sleeping naked? I can't bear any clothes on whilst I sleep. Leggins and a top thrown on first thing in the morning. Although may have to change this as my kids get older as I'm up 50 times for a wee during the night. Hopefully we have an en-suite by then Grin

TiredandLate · 15/07/2023 09:34

Men's!

Men's pjs are designed for comfortable sleeping. Not sure why they think women enjoy sleeping with shorts up our cracks.

Echinops · 15/07/2023 09:39

Muji seamless double gauze pyjamas, and the brushed cotton ones for winter.

KnickerlessParsons · 15/07/2023 09:47

I wear men's underpants - cotton shorts ones. They are perfect.

CleanHankie · 15/07/2023 10:00

I've ordered from Goosepimple before, nice bottoms with plenty of arse space - and pockets! (Before anyone queries, keeps the hands warm while waiting for the kettle to boil in the morning)
Have had issues with boobs out of armholes in the vest tops but I buy so I can mix & match with what I've got.

Naked is a no no. Boobs flopping around and getting nearly stuck in my armpit is a pain in the arse (crack).

Mens are an option though.

ChrisPPancake · 15/07/2023 10:15

I only get this if I don't wear massive granny pants knickers as well.

Tiredjoanna · 15/07/2023 10:16

Mens trousers and t-shirts are so comfy, that's what I do cuz I'm tall like you

Glitterblue · 15/07/2023 10:20

DaftyLass · 14/07/2023 21:07

I buy leggings, and cut them off just above the knee.
My thighs never touch in the night; my arse is left alone, unweggied

@DaftyLass what a brilliant idea, that sounds so comfy!!

I sleep in oversized T-shirts for that reason OP.

Glitterblue · 15/07/2023 10:22

I’ve always wondered how people sleep in those ankle length nighties you can still get. Surely you get tangled up every time you move?!

Whatevs99 · 15/07/2023 10:25

@Daffodilgrass Yes to Ireland. Thought the out out was more of a giveaway.

Dunnes men’s are a poss.

All joking aside, I love my sleep and this is a real irritant. Sitting here in bed in the nightie, but it’s not the same.

as for putting on ok bottoms when I get up, what about the 4 times in the night - now that I’m 50+ with 3 “normal” deliveries under my belt.

I can't stand wearing anything in bed. I'm in my 40s and have slept naked since my early teens.

Shortbread49 · 15/07/2023 10:55

Boden pj bottoms really roomy and have pockets

GladAllOver · 15/07/2023 11:25

Wearing clothes is bed is uncomfortable and unnecessary. I go from shower to towel to bed. The duvet and husband keep me quite warm enough.

GenieGenealogy · 15/07/2023 11:29

Leggings. My older, baggy leggings or those which are too thin are ideal for sleeping in. I also sometimes pick up a new pair in the sales in peculiar colours like bright orange or lime green - wouldn't go out and about in them, for bed they are fine. I always sleep in leggings/t-shirt, haven't had proper pyjamas for years.

LookItsMeAgain · 15/07/2023 11:31

Oodie pyjamas.

They really are the business! I have 2 pairs now of the T-shirt style ones. So comfortable on

MenopauseSucks · 15/07/2023 11:58

I buy pyjamas whose legs have 'tapered cuffs' to stop the legs riding up at night (according to the blurb!).
I tend to get the John Lewis ones for about £15.

woodhill · 15/07/2023 12:03

I find the same especially the shorts

Some JL or M&S are ok but maybe go up a size

FiveShelties · 15/07/2023 12:07

rockingbird · 14/07/2023 21:23

Am I the only one sleeping naked 🫣

No - and reading this thread I cannot ever go back to wearing clothes in bed. Love being naked in bed😁

woodhill · 15/07/2023 12:07

I hate sleeping naked, get too cold
