Hello, I need to travel early morning from London Luton airport. Which hotel is within walking distance? I’ve found:

holiday inn express (0.3 miles)
ibis (0.3 miles)
holiday Inn (0.3 miles)
courtyard (0.5 miles)

can anyone advise me which is best/walkable? I know 0.3 miles isn’t far, but I wondered if some had a better/easier route than others?

I guess my AIBU is am I better just going with the holiday inn express as it’s first on the list?

thanks!

I don't think any would be walkable but they will probably all have a shuttle service to the airport. Have you checked their websites?

We stayed in holiday inn express. It’s walkable - about 10 mins - slightly more if you want to avoid the stairs. Or there is a shuttle bus, which I think goes from the train station to the airport, via the hotels. We just walked though.

They are all walkable and there is a shuttle bus.

I was going to say it'll take about ten mins to walk to the Holiday Inn Express, however Ibis and Holiday Inn are just over the road anyway (from the Holiday Inn Express).

If you look on Google street view, just type in Airport Way, Luton. It may help you a bit more, but it is just one straight road down to the hotels.

I’ve stayed at both the Holiday Inn Express and the Ibis, both definitely walkable.

All of the hotels are basically next door to each on one road on the way into the airport.

Holiday Inn Express is a the closest as it’s on the airport side of a roundabout whereas the others are on the non-airport side. It’s really not a big distance though.

They are all walkable but it is up hill. They just outside the outside the airport.

There isn't a shuttle anymore it has been replaced with the 'DART' train which goes from Luton Parkway station and takes about 4 mins and is £4 per ticket.

Also be careful about being dropped off on Airport way/Percival way by friends/family are they will fine the driver for stopping.

That is an amazing tip thank you, as I am getting a lift.
