Taking ages deciding where to sit

Anyone else’s parents like this?

Went out for lunch today, took ages to finally decide which table to sit at and who to sit where (between themselves) Did mum want to sit in such a place, but dad also must be in the shade.
Drives me insane, just stood around deciding, I end up taking the lead and choosing a table, then having to move. It’s like musical chairs, is this normal?

People can get faffy and fussy as they age.

I’m sure they’ve been like this for years 🙄
It went on so long today and next to all the other people sat down..it’s like ‘Can we just sit down’

Some people are just faffy and it drives me insane. DH's family are like this and it literally takes half an hour for us to leave their house after we have said we are going home. When we visit my parents, we say it's time to go, put stuff in car, say goodbye and thanks, get in car and drive away. I have no idea why others can't do this!!!
