To quit my job

I’m really considering quitting my job.

I started in Feb, I have zero support of anyone. My workload is horrendous, I’m barely paid above minimum wage. I’m now being targeted by other staff members, someone emailed to everyone in my work group that I basically was lying about something, which she was then proved wrong.
Another member of staff stated I didn’t do my job, yet again was proven wrong and that I did do my job.
This is coming from a group of girls who all work in the same office and for some reason are targeting me.

other staff members have seen what’s going on and have said it’s awful, they have reported it to management. I have then told management myself and they spoke with one staff member. Nothing has changed. I’m tired and feel unsupported, I’ve been coming home and crying.

am I being unreasonable to give up and leave? I’ve had enough

That sounds really hard op. Can you ask for a follow up on how to deal with this going forward?

Can you afford to quit?

People like this will never change - search for a new job and leave them to bitch about each other, no job is worth crying over

Can you make a formal complaint?

If you can afford it, leave! I quit a couple of jobs, never regretted it. Life is too short, but don’t make yourself homeless because of them. Good luck x

Thanks all.

Basically I’m doing the work of two/three people and then I have a group of bitchy girls saying I’m not doing such and such. It’s very easy to say that when I’m lumped with absolutely everything. I’m so tired and when I’m coming home, I’m snapping at my partner and the kids and that’s not fair at all. Im just exhausted.

I've applied for some new jobs but I don’t think I'm going to get them, I kind of feel stuck as I can’t just leave without getting a new job first.

Can you join an agency and do temporary work in the meantime? In similar circumstances I quit an admin job and got minimum paid work the next week in a call centre. Then I joined an agency to do temporary admin contracts which led to another permanent, full-time position with one department that wanted to keep me on the team.

If your manager isn't dealing with it, raise a grievance fir bullying and harassment. Ultimately, leave. But don't make it easy or comfortable for anyone - you have done nothing wrong and can hold your head high. But dont stop fighting - you are worth more than this.

Basically I’m doing the work of two/three people and then I have a group of bitchy girls saying I’m not doing such and such.

@Zombieof3 may I correct that sentence for you?

You ARE doing the job of two/three people and then have a group of girls who don’t do their own work, and are frightened about being found out and/or tasked to do more so the load is shared more fairly. Or if you prefer, being told if you can do it why can’t they?
So they are pointing fingers at you, taking the heat of themselves, hoping that you will trip up so no one will notice they aren’t doing their jobs.

it’s not you, it’s them. Try to ignore whilst finding a better job - even if it’s just more money.
