Shouted at by driver

WIBU for beeping?!

Just been absolutely screamed at by some bloke and I am still shaking.

I stopped so the oncoming car could reverse into his drive my side of the road.

There was a lady just about to cross his driveway. She was on her phone. He clearly hadn't seen her. So I beeped to alert them both.

He was full on shouting at me, despite me trying to explain why I beeped.

Don't worry about it. Some People are just massive twats. I went to a large charity event the other day where a man was screaming at the volunteers working at the ticket stand because there were no paper programs, only online. There were also boards with the schedule attached across the park. It was absolutely nothing to do with the volunteers who didnt organise anything, but he stood having a stampy tantrum and making a scene. Honestly, shrug it off. It's not you. He's a tit.

Ah when other drivers make a scene (has happened once to me)I just lean on the horn the whole time they are yelling. It is the childhood equivalent of putting your hands over your ears and saying ‘La la La. I can’t hear you!’ Everyone they open their mouth-horn. Let go when they stop!

I’ve done that! Big aggressive man banging on my window because I was driving at 10mph through the park road (with a 10mph limit) and he was tailgating and gesticulating and shouting out the window until he was able to overtake me, swing in front and then stop his car to come scream at me for going slowly. Loads of walkers and cyclists around so I just kept sitting my hand on the horn every time he shouted and some cyclists came over the help and give him a shouting at!

You did nothing wrong dont worry .Some men think they are the best drivers (usually the worst)! I was waiting in some traffic and a random bloke called out "Nice Car Love" (Have an older car.)I just laughed .Idiot blokes trying to put women down .
