To be worried there is something wrong with ds?

Ds 8 months is sleeping a lot. Example, bed 6:30, dream feed 10pm, awake 6:45/7:15am, nap 10am to 12pm, sometimes a half hour snooze around 3pm, bed 6:30pm.

I am worried something is wrong? It seems like too much and he’s barely awake? He is my first and I am quite an anxious person, I have been googling and none of it is helpful!

That sounds completely normal. He should be sleeping around 13-15 hours in 24.

Sounds about right!

I was a Nanny and Maternity Nurse for 20 years and that sounds absolutely normal to me. Some babies sleep loads, others don’t nap so much (unfortunately mine fell into that camp!) As long as they are getting a good solid nights sleep, then follow baby’s lead during the day time as to how much napping time they need. I would only recommend cutting down on their daytime naps if they start waking up earlier and earlier in the morning, or they are struggling to fall asleep at bedtime. Enjoy the rest time while you can’t, they soon drop the naps. X
