To look for a new therapist

Over the last year or so I’ve had dreadful anxiety and depression. The anxiety has become so debilitating.I decided to seek help privately- as the nhs lists are long. I found a therapist after putting an anonymous post looking for recommendations on a local fb group . A particular therapists name came up a lot. So I decided to go with her. I’ve had two sessions - I like her . I find her easy to chat to. She rescheduled the last session - I was okay with that though she took days to get back to me to confirm the new date. She was meant to send me some stuff (homework) via email following our session , she took over a week to do that. I’m meant to see her next week , she cancelled that yesterday morning .I sent her dates I can do . I’ve heard nothing, I think it’s a bit unprofessional. it really adds to my anxiety. Should I stick with her or look elsewhere ? I might add she’s not cheap

I would cancel for sure.

Try looking on counselling directory for someone in your area or online. You can see their qualifications.
