When can I start trying?

In order to get full mat pay, I need to have been in my job for 1 year at the end of the 15th week before the expected week of childbirth. When can I safely start trying? I started working here on 12th December 2022.

You need to be no further along than 25 weeks by 12th December 2023 so you can start trying now.

I think you're fine to start trying from now.

15 weeks from expected birth would be 25 weeks gestation. 25 weeks from 12th December would have been late June.

If you want to play it safe, wait until your next cycle.
