AIBU to be annoyed that the BBC (and possibly other media outlets) don't have this as headline news?

Theoretically he could be done for contempt of court, which is a potentially imprisonable offence. But I guess it depends whether the government have the balls to apply for a sanction.

Today was a good day to bury bad news. Christ only knows what else has happened when we were being told to look over there ➡️

Exactly this.

I heard this on Radio 4 and it was on the website. If the BBC didn’t cover the news of the male presenter they would be accused of censorship

I'm not saying don't cover this story. I'm saying the Johnson story needs to be covered too. Surely the way Covid was handled where thousands of people died is a bigger story than what a BBC presenter did or didn't do.

Oh is THAT why the BBC keep running this boring non-story about one of their own presenters as headline news. I’d been wondering.

YANBU!

Boris’ control of the media is really scary, always has been.

I don't think the BBC presenters thing is a non story at all.

But really the NATO meetings, the Illegal Migration Bill in the HoC and the Phone 1 story are significant issues and should be given more prominence.
