To complain and be really annoyed?

Honestly I’m at a loss with the state of services and products and customer service right now and I’m just fuming.
Not because something went wrong, I understand things happen… but EVERYTHING has gone wrong and dealing with all of the returns, online forms, 45 minute waiting times and processing for resolving them has evaporated my non existent free time.

I get about 8 hours per week without my two toddlers (one who has significant learning disabilities and needs a very high level of care) and this week ALL of that will be taken up with dealing with this carnage. I’m annoyed, I had other things to do. I just don’t have capacity to deal with this many failures and faults. I don’t want to complain, I don’t want to return/refund/send things off. I just want things to bloody work and be straight forward.

Not sure if I’ve just had a really bad run but this has been my week.

  • Smeg dishwasher, less than 6 weeks old and the cutlery draw has randomly split in half.
  • Joie car seat for our disabled toddler. Less than a month old, strap mechanism broke whilst I was on the motorway. Que DS bouncing around the car flipping out.
  • Plum swing ordered on advice from OT. The swing seats and fixtures turned up but no frame…no one has any idea where the frame it 🤷‍♀️
  • Bought a Hauck Runner to accommodate DS size. Less than a month old and the back rest broke in half! (He’s within the weight limit)

(we aren’t swimming in cash btw, all the stuff for DS came out of his DLA pot)

No, you aren’t being unreasonable at all to be annoyed and complain. You’ve had an horrendous week by all accounts.
Be clear about what you want as a resolution to each problem and remember that whatever has gone wrong isn’t the fault of the person who answers your call/email/tweet etc.

Flowers and Cake for you, I hope you have a better week ahead.
