if you could give a 30 year old any advice. What would it be?

Don't sweat the small stuff, pick your fights and time really really does heal everything

There’s never a good time to have kids.

Oh and always always do what makes you happy as I've spent my life thinking I'm making others happy for them just to think "I only ever think of myself". Which is so far from the truth.

You’ve been people pleasing your whole adult life. Time to stop that and focus on your own mental health and well being. It’s called “good selfish”.

Honestly I'm in my 50's now and this is a blooming revelation, wished I'd realised so much earlier in life and would have made a lot of different decisions and changed a lot of my priorities. Don't waste any more time pleasing people and you can never really please anyone x

I second the pension.

This is for anyone living with their partner. Make sure from day that you share the chores equally.

See a podiatrist now and get a good dentist. Your feet and teeth will thank you later.

If someone acts like a twat then they most likely are a twat and should be dumped and avoided.

Start lifting weights. do yoga. moisturise your face. Always use suncream. Learn how to say no. Learn how to accept compliments. Wear comfortable shoes and granny pants if high heels and thongs make you grumpy.

Never overstay a bad relationship because you think you are too old to start over..

Do t assume you'll still be feeling the same about work at 50 let alone 60. Plan your future so that you have options when you need them most.

Remember you are far younger than you think you are. 30 is young!!!

It's fine to be different, don't follow the crowd unless the crowd is doing want you want to do.

Alway be kind.

Pension/savings - as much as you can, but you still need to enjoy your life now.

Travel, both in UK and abroad if you can.

Keep supple and stretch every day.

Children can be a blessing, but they aren't compulsory.

Enjoy your 30s !

I’d have told myself to stay single. And take up running.

Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.

That 1.5% is a low interest rate and to fix for 10 years should rates every be that low again!!!!
