To consider surgery

I need a sense check.

Has anyone had surgery on their stomach to make it flatter?

I'm a relatively healthy 41 year old size 10/12 but I have a weirdly round stomach for the size of the rest of my body. I genuinely look pregnant. People ask me all the time.

It doesn't seem to be just fat, I can feel the amount of fat and I think most people have similar without looking like me. It's also not bloating, it's the same no matter what I eat. I do Pilates and ab exercises but it also makes no difference. General exercise also makes no difference. I can hold it in briefly but only with extreme effort. It's also not just bad posture and I don't have split abs or anything like that.

It's like my insides are just too spacious and need to be tightened up! It's really getting me down.

Has anyone had surgery to fix an issue like this? Is that a crazy idea? I know it would be really drastic but on the other hand I feel like living the rest of my life with this or worse is an awful thought,
