Sickness bug?

One year old dd was at nursery yesterday. Came home fine, fine last night, ate breakfast this morning. Then while playing normally was very sick all over the floor. Im emetophobic so this in itself was pretty upsetting. Afterwards she was happy immediately and playing normally again. Of course I'm thinking sickness bug. But would she be so well in herself if it were? Do I just need to wait it out and see if she's sick again?

My son and daughter (one in nursery and one in school) both have the sickness bug this week, I think it's going around 😔 son was sick then seemed fine after then sick a few more timed. Hope they're not too bad with it

Doesn't always mean a sickness bug, my son has been sick before randomly out of the blue after eating, he had undiagnosed diabetes!
Could be numerous things something she ate/drank, loads of things. Try not to worry if she's fine in herself.

Just thrown up again in her cot so I'm assuming bug. Pray for me.

Argh, I’m also have emetophobia and people talking of sickness bugs in the summer is my worst nightmare, I thought we were safe in the summer and really they were mainly winter things 😭

Feel for you (and your DD OP) my DD starts nursery next week and I’m so worried about this. I really hope you don’t catch it and it’s a swift recovery for your DD.

Oh god I have emetophobia too and can't cope with sickness. My son was sent home from nursery the other week cos he was sick then he wasn't sick for a while so assumed it was a one off then we gave him some juice and he was sick again but luckily he wasn't again after that. Just give plain water and nothing else to eat or drink except maybe plain toast later on tonight

I think it's worse with kids this age because they don't understand and can't even attempt to reach for a sick bowl or anything. I see lots of washing and anti bac spray in my future.
