AIBU to think Dan and Blair was the most utterly ludicrous pairing of the season?

Side note: the real love story should’ve been Rufus and Lily and it annoys me all the time it wasn’t.

I honestly find it hard to choose but probably Serena overall (although there are a few lows), Nate and maybe Lily for a few seasons.

Obviously Chuck Bass is a legend and hilarious but Blair annoyed me.

@Merryoldgoat interesting! I find Serena annoying! So entitled and I feel her character lacks depth. I absolutely adore Blair and Chuck. They make the show. I do also love Dan, his dry wit is just perfect

I'm on series 6 now. I'd forgotten how bitter Serena and Lily become. Blair and Chuck are just brilliant all the way through. Also Chuck's glow up is incredible from season 2 to 3!

So bitter! Gone right off them. I'm nearly finished. Will be by the end of this week! Love B&C ❤️

I've never liked Serena and rewatching the latter series remind me why, and her giggle gets right on my nerves

I loved Lilly and Rufus in the early days and really rooted for them to finally be together. And then yes, the bitterness and resentment set in and they were so awful to one another. And then that dreadful Ivy got involved... > note to self ITS NOT REAL <

Blair and Chuck, and Lily and Rufus, are the best.

Serena is annoying, mainly her casual attitude to all the chaos she causes then her casually walzing off to e.g. Europe.

Yes, it's very real and absolutely gorgeous. We also had a free upgrade to a suite whilst we were there. They had a cocktail menu full of GG related drinks.

Dan and Blair together were my favourite couple in the show.

But then I also thought Rachael and Joey belonged together on Friends so do with that what you will!

I still think Rufus and Lily were the real love story - what they did to them was a travesty.

@Merryoldgoat they honestly were the true love story. They did them a disservice. Also, at the start I don't think it was apparent that Blair and Chuck would be the stars of the show but they were just outstanding. It was literally their show and everyone else was just in it 😂
