To want to know what help I need?

I am slowly working through some long standing issues , had some therapy, getting to a better place. I have also identified that I need to work with an actual person and to be held accountable to make progress on things I find difficult.

I feel I need more help now in specific areas but not sure if there are even people that exist in the roles I am looking for!

First off, health. What I need feels like it would be called a ‘health coach’ - not a PT - who works with me on all aspects of nutrition, eating behaviour, exercise, supplements et etc

Next is finances. From what I understand, not a financial advisor as I don’t need help (yet) with things like investing. More like again personal finance good practice, budgeting, planning, setting up and maintaining tracking etc

What or who do I need?? Has anyone had success with professional help in these areas? If so where did you find it?

I don’t have friends I could talk about this stuff with IRL and prefer not to go into this level of detail with my DH, who has his own business and a lot on his plate

Can't believe that no one else has replied! Good for you for the changes you are making.

For the finance stuff, you are looking for a financial coach. I used one about 5 years ago when I was ready and it was life changing. She gave me some really useful tips about budgeting and managing money. I'm not perfect but I've gone from being in debt to actually having savings! I used Simonne at Wise monkey but I think she is really busy now. There are loads of others outthere - most will meet with you initially for free and I'd suggest that you meet a few and see who you click with.

The health stuff is interesting. A good PT can offer nutrition advice but you have to be careful as many of them just think they know nutrition. Maybe you could look on local FB groups for recommendations. I also know that 'health and wellbeing coaches' are a thing so perhaps google that?

Good luck!
