I saw the Moomin house from DeAgostini and thought 'what a lovely activity for me and my daughter to do, each week, a little treat in the post, that is regular, leads to something, and will keep us interested as it comes each week and would be dedicated for us.

But it seems to cost over a grand.

Does anyone know of any subscriptions that are worthwhile? Many seem rip offs.

Maybe an educational one, but I like the idea of working towards a large project like this that she can keep forever and remember the time we spend, than something throw away or that accumulates many small things.

You seem to realise that these prescriptions are bloody expensive, even if spaced out over many, many months.

I do wonder what happens if they decide to cease production before you're finished?

I would avoid the subscriptions. If you want a nice project with your daughter perhaps you could buy a dolls house and rennovate it together?
