Worried about sunburn

I (stupidly) got very sunburnt last Saturday on the back of my calves. Very, very painful and very, very crimson, but there was no blistering etc, just the colour and sore to touch.

We're 7 days in and I can now touch my skin but it's still pretty painful to knock/scratch etc (and it's really itchy). Redness has faded but it's still clearly sunburned.

Everything I'm reading says that symptoms of sunburn should've subsided in 7 days so it's now concerning me that it's still hurting to scratch. The circulation also seems to be shit in my legs but not sure if it's just more obvious with the colour shift (I'm usually pale as anything).

I am absolutely usually a hypochondriac and work myself up though so I never know.

Yes you’re being a hypochondriac. Sunburn is bloody horrible though! Put after sun on it a few times a day and you’ll be fine.

So legs didn't peel?

I grew up in a sunny place so can't get worked up in general. Am thinking you've got something besides sunburn going on (maybe the hypochondria tbf).
