Gall Bladder Pain

Hi there
Posting here foot traffic!
Currently awaiting referral for gall bladder consultation, assuming will eventually end in removal.
Had one flare up in April, ended up in A&E. Low level pain on/off since then. Nothing major.
Also have right shoulder pain, which I know can be a sign, but I am wondering if others have had this shoulder pain, and if so where on shoulder?
Mine is on top, where your hand bag strap would be. I carry my bag on opposite shoulder so it's not the bag. Googling says the shoulder pain from gall bladder is shoulders towards the back/blades?

Just trying to figure out if this is related to gall bladder or if it's something else!
Thanks

Hi my shoulder pain was literally under my shoulder blade constantly nagging. If I could have removed my shoulder blade I'd have given it a go😂
Flare-ups were 100% worse than any labour pain literally thd most agonising pain I've ever felt. Had gall bladder out in 2019 best thing ever getting rid of it. Good luck.

Back of shoulder, radiating across back and top of shoulder for me, with hindsight. Had had the odd niggling pain there, didn't really think about it till I was in so much agony I'd have removed the gall bladder with my bare hands.

I’m right in the throws of gallstones currently at 36 weeks pregnant it’s sheer hell! I had ercp and stent fitted two weeks post partum with my last baby and it’s failed apparently the stent can get clogged meeting with consultant on the 3rd to discuss induction my first symptoms of a attack are a very tender pain in upper right quadrant, I haven’t noticed shoulder pain but that’s probably because my attacks come on thick and fast and I really don’t know what to do with myself so maybe I’m not paying attention.

So strange il be a passenger in a car and when I go over bumps etc I can feel my gallbladder, thats pretty much constant.

I have gallstones and I feel your pain! Just had a pre op so hopefully will be having the thing out soon. I've had a bad ish day today achey on the right side and pain in my shoulder too . I googled some yoga stretches for the gallbladder and that did help some of the discomfort. Good luck! Hope you get it sorted soon .

So it's seems that for anyone here so far who has had shoulder pain it's in a different place to mine.
Last attack in April was scary!!
Thanks

Have appointment with consultant in July. I've had 3 sections so not sure if I'll be able to have key hole or not for this

Yes you will as it's nowhere near your section scar.Goodluck.

I didn’t really have shoulder pain so can’t help with that. But I had mine removed by keyhole after having had sections - no problem at all, it’s a long way away from that.
