Ijust boarded flight BA 95, London-Montreal. I boarded at just before 6pm, give or take a few minutes. As I sat down I requested the crew member handing out the drinks for a packet of Crisps, to which he replied “ we have them but you can only get them after takeoff”. When I requested him again as I was famished he repeated the same thing with a mildly aggressive look. I should say that I am traveling business class and the crisps were delivered an hour and half later and only when I asked another crew member, who was really nice about it and got me some crisps immediately.
Now I know we capitalists have our reckoning coming, but until then, shouldnt there be better service than this in business class?
I was neutral and did not show my annoyance in any way and thanked the lady who brought me the crisps profusely.
His attitude seemed quite Dickensian, definitely patronizing.
