Talking to DH

Wasn't sure where to post this, but I'm finding it hard to have a conversation with DH so would it be bad if I write it all down in a letter and give to him?

Surely it depends what your trying to say and the seriousness of it.

Relationship/marriage is non-existent and I need my own space.

I think this shoukld be face to face. Perhaps you could leave a note saying u want to talk. He surely has some idea that things are not as thry should be? A note saying you need to talk would prepare him?

Do you know why you're finding it so hard? Are you scared of his reaction?
