I put a post on a FB group, it was a by the by that mentioned being poor, and this woman, who i 'know' from FB but otherwise don't know from adam, just came along and said 'here,i'll give you a dig out of 100 euro' no expectation of even getting it back (i'll make damn sure i get it back to her). But my god, people can be so utterly lovely, in a world that is generally so crap, it's lovely and amazing (and i want to go out and dance in the garden but it's the middle of the night and it'd be a bit odd!)

You’re going to accept money from someone you don’t know? 🤔

ListeningToTheDog · 25/06/2023 02:27

You said you were poor, someone you don’t know offered you money and you are taking it?

We getting begging post on our local FB pages quite often. I wonder how many are genuine

Chickenkeev · 25/06/2023 03:09

Well i 'know' them virtually, but i've never met them. And i wasn't begging, i was talking. There really is no need to be nasty like that, i'm hardly delighted to be piss poor. My post was supposed to be appreciative of the lovely person who did something nice for me. Sorry it has offended some of you ffs.

And jfc, talk about taking something lovely and completely sucking the goodness out of it. Really bad form.
