While standing in the supermarket today I noticed a girl of about 7 with with her dad and she was wearing a bright pink pair of velour shorts on the back in bright, silver gem stones it had the name of the designer/manufacturer! AIBU to wonder why any parent would want folks being drawn to their small DD like that? I'm not a prude but just can't see the reasoning behind it.

Why not? I don't get my DD to wear that kind of thing but you wear what you want to wear🤷‍♀️

Yes, I do judge the sort of parent who would buy their (often primary age) daughter velour joggers or shorts with ‘juicy’ emblazoned across the bum in rhinestones.

If you're talking about JC they sell them at JD sports now at half price

I saw a girl about 7 or 8 wearing pink velour joggers with the word "Hot" across her bottom. Not appropriate in my view for a child that age.

It was gymnastics shorts was it? I think they are better than a leotard. Girls always picking them out their bums, impractical and looks uncomfortable.

There is a lot of girls clothing now which is a bit mini-adult. We’ve just been to an all-inclusive hotel resort and two girls of around 10 years old were wearing bikinis with very skimpy thong bottoms. Awful imo (the thong part, no issue with a proper bikini bottom) but then I guess I’m old-fashioned and will shot down for saying so.
