Vibration plates

I have been given a vibration plate exerciser (if that’s what it is even called) by a family member having a clear out. This is the first red flag tbh..

AIBU to think they surely don’t do anything? Why would family member give one away if it does. How do they work? I have looked them up but half the fitness gurus say great for weight loss and the other half say quite honestly it’s BS.

Happy to be told I’m wrong and that I’ve essentially been given a ticket to looking like Kate Moss by summers end

They are supposed to increase blood circulation

No good if you just stand there on it you have to actually exercise but it increases how effective those exercises are, not by much but enough for it to be worthwhile in my experience. I have poor circulation in my feet and it's great for that too
