My daughter was sent home from nursery at 2pm with two "spots" on her face and what looked like a heat rash on her tummy. The nursery staff thought it was the start of chicken pox. It's now 8pm and the two spots have faded slightly and aren't very obvious at all, no further spots have appeared and the apparent heat rash has gone. Shes seems absolutely fine. She's already had chicken pox about 4 months ago. I know it is possible to get them a second time, however surely more spots would have appeared by now (6 hours later)? I'm asking as if she wakes in the morning with no further spots, then I will probably take her to nursery.
