posting here as not sure where to post it,

So i returned a dress that i had bought for £150 as it was stained but unfortunately i didnt realise this until i had worn it, I then tried to wash out the stain as i didnt want to have to return the dress as i needed it for a wedding. Unfortunately no stain remover worked ( the stains look like bleach stains for example)
So i returned it, company then said upon investigation they cannot refund or replace as i have stained and washed it so they are returning the dress to me.

Thing is the dress was apparentely just delivered back to me but i cannot find it anywhere and i was out when it was supposedly delivered to my car ( the windows were down as its been very hot lately and the photo shows it in the back seat, What are my options now??? i am now down £150 and a dress that i cant even try to fix!!!

Well unless you authorised the courier to leave it in your car as a safe place, you need to complain to the company as not delivered.

Did you give instructions that the parcel could be left in a "safe" place such as your car?

If not, the responsibility lies with the sender up to the point where the recipient actually receives it, not the point the delivery company claims it was delivered. If you haven't received it the sender needs to take it up with the delivery company. If they can't find it, the sender will have to refund you... not sure if you'd get the full amount given it's damaged, it would depend on the terms and conditions of your purchase.

Did you pay on a credit card or PayPal?
