At the grand old age of 8, my beautiful ND son had his hair cut in a barbers for the first time ever today!

I look back and laugh at all the mum haircuts my ND DS had when he was young. Ironically since covid I've been cutting his hair again!

I took my ND son to the barbers when he was 3. They didn't manage to finish the cut, he had a massive meltdown. So for many years I cut it with clippers, the same length all over. When he was young his dad held him while I did it quickly, until he learned to tolerate it.

A friend is a barber and he saw his brothers having their hair cut by her many times. And then one day asked if she'd do it. He was 16, and he's been going to the barbers ever since.

Looks much smarter now someone who knows what they're doing is cutting his hair!
