Diarrhoea when teething? Dd is currently getting one of her back molars through and has had diarrhoea and loss of appetite since Friday. She has horrendous nappy rash too. Other than that she's well in herself, happy, playing, drinking plenty of fluids but her nappies are just awful and so stinky

I know doctors say that teething diarrhoea isn't 'a thing' these days but is it something your kids get too? She's due at nursery later in the week and I'm pretty sure they won't take her with a bad tummy even though I'm 99% certain it's through teething and not a bug.

Maybe a little bit. But not for days, and I wouldn't describe it as awful. I would say it's more just slightly looser.

Yes but again not for longer then a few days.
We used the yellow nappy cream and it cleared the rash up over night.

Mine have had diarrhoea with teething. I think its to do with extra saliva production? The runny poo then normally causes the rash and its a bit of a cycle.

DD was always like this with teeth. She still is a bit when a tooth is coming through and she's 8 now.
