Using others' rubbish bins? Just do it properly!

I have to keep my bins outside onstreet,no front garden, and I mean no, not a small one. Aibu to have just left a giant notice on my brown bin asking people to STOP putting general crap in it? My black bin is two bloody feet away... use that if you really can't be arsed to take your rubbish home.

Buy a bin lock?

Can you open them one handed?

Why would you need to open it one handed?

You just unlock it, put your rubbish in and lock it again.

If it's a wheelie bin, I think you can get locks that automatically open when the bins are tipped upside down on the truck.
