To question why DP’s pupils are tiny?

Does anyone know why DP pupils are tiny (like pin holes)? It happens every time he comes back after being away for the night.

I'd rather leave my DH than have to drug test him!

But if you do want to drug test, there's different ones. Urine will show recently used drugs, so will blood. Hair samples can show longer term use!

Very extreme in a relationship tbh and I'm not sure how cheap / easily to obtain it would be!

Of course people take heroin (or other opiates) recreationally. It's fucking stupid, particularly for someone who has struggled with alcohol. But I know a couple of people who managed to be OK afterwards (I know more who weren't).

It might not be drugs at all. He might just have shit nights sleeps when he's away from home, but given you're trusting so many people who have suggested drugs, I would assume you already had suspicions.

Are your lights very bright?

A bad night's sleep wouldn't make your pupils shrink, would it?

@OhComeOnFFS yeah your pupils get bigger when you're well rested and smaller when you're fatigued (obviously there are so many variants that affect pupils though so you could be knackered and somewhere dark with huge pupils or vice versa)

It sounds like drugs. But, if I'm being really fair to him, it could be something else. V bright light can cause tiny pupils, especially after drinking alcohol. It could be heroin, but it might not be.

Heroin/opiates make your pupils tiny. ‘Pinned’ is the term generally used.
And OP wouldn’t necessarily be able to tell if her partner was using. Plenty of heroin users can function normally and pull the wool over their partner’s eyes.
Check pockets for foil/wraps/tiny bits of clingfilm. There’s a smell that accompanies heroin smokers. And obviously track marks for intravenous users.
If he’s using other opiates then it’s harder to be sure.

It depends on the circles you move in. We keep Naloxone at home because we're worried about one of our friend's OD'ing when they come over (this is what Uma Thurman was stabbed with in Pulp Fiction). Lost too many friends over the years to risk it.

Not saying it's ok or healthy! I've tried it once and thankfully never been tempted back. Just that it's more prevalent than I think a lot of people realise.

I'm sorry to say OP that of all my friends who are drug users, it's the heroin users with tiny pupils. Coke and MDMA make eyes dilate. Ketamine has little effect on the eyes. Heroin makes the pupils tiny.

Slightly guilty LOL. I have never seen someone on coke with tiny pupils. More of a wide eyed dilated look.
